The sky is the limit for kids and families in El Paso, Texas! La Nube, Spanish for ‘the cloud,’ is a cutting-edge STEAM discovery center with more than 70,000 square feet of interactive areas and four stories of experiences for guests to explore, play, create, and push the boundaries of innovation. La Nube offers something for everyone. Exhibits present a fusion of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics in a dynamic space that is designed for visitors of all ages, from toddlers to adults.

The mission of La Nube is to inspire children to get excited about science and connect that excitement to future careers. They achieve this through nine immersive, interactive zones, each designed to encourage curiosity, and creativity in an inclusive environment. Connecting all four level of the museum is the incredible Anything’s Possible climber. It is not only is it the tallest indoor climber in Texas, but also offers accessible paths for guests of all abilities to join in the adventure. Other zones include:

Our Sky, a weather-focused experience that invites visitors to engineer buildings, harness renewable energy, follow the weather using a mobile research station, or even climb aboard a research vessel to embark on an exciting journey of discovery!

Desert Bloom, an infant and toddler zone inspired by the Chihuahuan Desert, where children explore the world through crawling, climbing, touching and listening.

Follow Your Instincts, a world of make-believe, that invites children to dress up and create make-believe stories, build forts, and explore a glow-in-the-dark cavern. They can also pretend to be animals for a day or practice veterinary skills in the Care Lab.

Fly High, full of air-powered interactives and art installations that challenge guests to defy gravity as they fly airplanes and launch rockets

Puzzle It, a zone dedicated to creative problem solving, lateral thinking, teamwork, and out-of-the-box strategies. With puzzles in English and Spanish across various difficulty levels and genres, there’s something for everyone.

Making Waves, where guests can discover how everyday objects inspire creativity as you explore sound, record music videos, and even learn coding to create your own beats!

Flow, a magical water play zone, that offers more than a little chance of getting wet!

Challenge In, a tinker space for building and testing original designs, including 3-D printing, coding, robotics, and more!

Our scope of work included engineering, detailing, 3D modeling & BIM coordination, as well as fabrication and installation of all exhibits, including the Anything’s Possible climber.
