We’re proud to announce our partnership with the Discovery Center in our latest project – Planning the Discovery Center Mobile Unit Exhibits. An interactive experience aimed at educating and inspiring millions to help eradicate water poverty.
Discovery Center Mobile Units
A key Global Water Center component is the Discovery Center, which will aim to educate and inspire millions of people to join the movement to eradicate water poverty. Although the Discovery Center will have its home base in Charleston, SC, we anticipate launching the Discovery Center via a series of mobile interactive experiences to support partners, and to engage the general public.
We are pleased to announce that the following firms are involved in planning the mobile Discovery Center exhibits.
- The PRD Group – A premiere planning, research, and design firm with experience in world-class interactive exhibits.
- Cortina Productions – An award-winning designer and producer of multimedia, interactive experiences.
- Kubik/Maltbie – A preeminent leader in the production of some of the world’s most prestigious museums and interactive environments.
The mobile Discovery Center experiences will be designed to fit into customized tractor trailers with interactive exhibits and hands-on experiences for children and adults. Stay tuned for regular updates as the planning process continues.
