Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced, responsible and team focused Site Supervisor to oversee onsite exhibit installation services worldwide. This Site Supervisor role is Project Based Contract Agreement. The Site Supervisor reports site progress/status to the Project Manager who outlines Priorities, Deliveries, and Installation Sequence. The Site Supervisor is responsible for maintaining on-going professional relationships with the Client and all parties onsite. This Includes directing local laborers day to day, maintaining safety protocols and implementing site procedures. The Site Supervisor is accountable for ensuring install milestones are achieved and that all site processes are running smoothly and promptly. The Site Supervisor will oversee and work alongside Specialized Subcontractors (Scenic, Casework, AV, Lighting, Artifact Mounting, etc.) to fulfill the specific project needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete Daily Site Diary to capture labor resources and hours worked each day.
  • Oversees daily work of employees, local laborers & assigns tasks & duties.
  • Warns, disciplines, or terminates site labor not working to company standards.
  • Processes client/project work orders in accordance with Kubik Maltbie procedures.
  • Assists in construction, assembly, fit-out and finishing of installation tasks.
  • On smaller scale projects the Site Supervisor would take a active role in the installation of exhibits.
  • Reviews work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.
  • Ensures that all deadlines are met.
  • Enforces all health and safety policies on site
  • Inspects and oversees cleanliness of site equipment.
  • Fixes equipment and machinery as necessary, reports missing or non-working tools & equipment.
  • Ensures that workspaces are clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material.

Job Specifications & Requirements:

  • 5+ years Installation experience
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred
  • Reliable and Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of carpentry and fabrication methods.
  • Able to read and understand construction/fabrication blueprints/shop drawings
  • Works well with a team.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates awareness of all health and safety protocols.
  • Is able to remain calm and clear-headed in an emergency.
  • Manages time efficiently and is able to multi-task effectively.
  • Pays attention to detail.
  • Is capable of translating industry terminology into straightforward terms for explanatory purposes.
  • Ability to operate forklift and aerial lifts effectively.
  • High physical activity: lifting, bending, stretching & must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Available to work extended hours and able to travel for months at a time.
  • Proficient computer skills
