Role Description:

As Project Manager in our Toronto office, you will be our liaison with museum and corporate clients, and professional project teams, to ensure each contract is completed successfully on time and on budget.  You will work as part of a team on larger projects or the direct oversight of one to two projects concurrently.  Our Project Managers are an integral part of the team that transforms ideas into experiences. They own multiple projects from concept through production and installation in partnership with a great team.

Job Specifications:

  • Oversee Design Development process integration of drafting, interactives, graphics, and others as necessary to ensure design is kept within budget targets.
  • Coordinate and control of subcontractor and supply-only packages and monitor/control of subcontractors’ progress.
  • Attendance at regular meetings to ensure project progress is current to project expectations.
  • Manage release of production flow to align with installation phases of project to minimize deficiencies in timing and deliveries.
  • Ensure cost tracking schedule is regularly updated to advise on current project financial position.
  • Prepare of regular progress reports (both in house and for Client presentations).
  • Prepare Operation and Maintenance manuals.
  • Assist with financial oversight of assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience managing all phases of multiple projects.
  • Technical knowledge of millwork, showcase construction, and interior building finishes, specifically museum builds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional planning and follow-up skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work well with others, both inside and outside the organization.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills.
