Job Summary:

Kubik Maltbie is looking for a skilled, reliable and team focused Exhibit Installer to perform onsite exhibit installation services worldwide. This Exhibit Installer role is Project Based Contract Agreement. The Exhibit Installer is responsible for ensuring all exhibits are installed efficiently, on time and per installation shop drawings, delivering a service that exceeds the clients’ expectations. The Exhibit Installer will receive day to day tasks from the Site Supervisor, sometimes working independently and at other times working with a team of exhibit installers or alongside Specialized Subcontractors (Scenic, Casework, AV, Lighting, Artifact Mounting, etc.) to fulfill the specific project needs. To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes efficiency. Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete Daily Timesheet to capture labor hours worked for each day
  • Follow Technical instructions to perform assigned tasks & duties
  • Complete construction, assembly, fit-out and finishing of installation tasks
  • Proficiency in using a wide variety of tools and equipment
  • Thorough knowledge of carpentry methods and materials
  • Ability to understand visual/illustrative methods design
  • Ability to work independently and in groups
  • Ability to lead others as required
  • Adhere to Installation quality standards
  • Follow all health and safety policies on site
  • Maintain cleanliness of site equipment
  • Reports any missing or non-working tools & equipment
  • Ensures that workspaces are clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material

Job Specifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years Installation experience
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of carpentry and fabrication methods
  • Able to read and understand construction/fabrication blueprints/shop drawings
  • Proficient in working with a wide range of materials; glass, wood, plastics, acrylics, laminates, graphics, metals, etc.
  • Reliable and works well with a team
  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates awareness of all health and safety protocols
  • Manages time efficiently and is able to multi-task effectively
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Ability to operate forklift and aerial lifts effectively.
  • High physical activity: lifting, bending, stretching & must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Available to work extended hours and travel for months at a time
